Addressing Amazon Inspector Assessment Findings
Wednesday, September 28, 2016 9:00:00 AM PDT - 10:00:00 AM PDT
The flexibility and scale of the AWS Cloud and the emergence of DevOps have combined to allow developers to build and deploy applications faster than ever before. Assessing these applications for security risks without slowing down the development process can be a challenge with traditional security assessment tools designed for on-premises infrastructure. Amazon Inspector, an automated security assessment service, addresses this by integrating assessments directly into the development process of environments running on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2).

In this session, we will review Amazon Inspector security assessments findings and how best to interpret and take action on them as a seamless part of your DevOps lifecycle. We will review the findings structure for rules packages and run through demos on how to make them findings actionable by injecting them into your operations pipeline through automatic submissions into ticketing and change management systems or directly executing remediation activities.

Learning Objectives:
•	Overview of Amazon Inspector assessment findings and how to interpret these
•	Learn how to utilize AWS services to automate ticketing and change management submission for findings
•	Automate remediation based on assessment findings

Who Should Attend:
•	Security Professional, Developers, QA Engineers, Security Assessment / Certification Engineers, System Administrators
